standingdesk.lt Online Store Terms and Conditions

1. General Provisions

1.1. These Goods Purchase–Sale Rules (hereinafter – the “Rules”) constitute a binding legal document between the Buyer, who has confirmed the Rules (having read them and checked the box “I have read and agree to the standingdesk.lt rules”), and the Seller – [Name Surname / individual activity] (hereinafter – the “Seller”). The Rules establish the rights and obligations of both parties, conditions for purchasing and paying for goods, procedures for delivery and return of goods, liability of the parties, and other provisions related to the purchase–sale of goods in the standingdesk.lt online store.

1.2. The Rules define the conditions and procedures for ordering, purchasing, and returning goods in the standingdesk.lt store, as well as provide the information required to be presented to the Buyer under the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

1.3. The Seller has the right to unilaterally modify the Rules at any time by publishing the updated version on the standingdesk.lt website. The changes take effect from the moment of publication and apply to all transactions concluded after their publication.

1.4. By using the standingdesk.lt online store, the Buyer confirms that they agree to these Rules and undertake to comply with them.

2. Conclusion of the Contract

2.1. The following persons have the right to purchase goods in the Seller’s online shop standingdesk.lt:

  • legally capable natural persons;

  • minors aged 14 to 18 with parental or guardian consent, except in cases where they independently manage their own income;

  • legal entities;

  • authorized representatives of the above-listed persons.

2.2. By confirming these Rules, the Buyer confirms that they have the right to purchase goods in the Seller’s online store.

2.3. When placing an order, the Buyer must provide the personal data necessary for proper order fulfillment: name, surname (or legal entity name), delivery address, phone number, and email address.

2.4. The purchase–sale agreement between the Buyer and the Seller is considered concluded and valid from the moment when:

  • the Buyer creates a shopping cart, specifies the delivery address and other necessary data, selects a payment method, reads and confirms agreement with the Rules, and confirms the purchase;

  • the Seller receives the order and confirms it by sending an order confirmation email to the Buyer.

2.5. The contract is valid until full performance of the parties’ obligations or until termination under the procedure set out in these Rules.

2.6. Each electronically concluded contract is stored in the standingdesk.lt database.

3. Buyer’s Rights

3.1. The Buyer has the right to purchase goods in the standingdesk.lt online store according to these Rules and the procedures described in other sections of the Seller’s website.

3.2. The Buyer has the right to access their personal data and request correction of incorrect or incomplete data by emailing [your email, e.g. info@standingdesk.lt] or contacting by phone [your phone number]. The Seller must fulfill the Buyer’s request promptly and within a reasonable time.

3.3. The Buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase–sale agreement concluded via the standingdesk.lt online store by notifying the Seller in writing (via email, indicating the returned product and order number) no later than 14 days from the date of delivery.

3.4. The Buyer’s right to withdraw from the contract is exercised in accordance with Article 6.228–10 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Lithuania and the Retail Trade Rules approved by Government Resolution No. 738 of 22 July 2014.

3.5. The Buyer may exercise the right to withdraw from the contract only if the goods have not been damaged, have not substantially changed in appearance, have not been used, have not been assembled (if delivered unassembled), and are in their original packaging, except as otherwise provided by law.

3.6. If the Buyer purchases a product of unsatisfactory quality, the Buyer has the right to:

  • demand that defects be eliminated free of charge;

  • demand that the product be replaced with one of satisfactory quality;

  • demand an appropriate reduction of the product’s price;

  • unilaterally terminate the contract and request a refund.

4. Buyer’s Obligations

4.1. The Buyer must pay for the goods and accept them in accordance with these Rules.

4.2. If the Buyer’s information provided in the order form changes, the Buyer must immediately inform the Seller.

4.3. By using the standingdesk.lt online store, the Buyer undertakes to comply with these Rules, the conditions provided on the website, and not to violate the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.

5. Seller’s Rights

5.1. The Seller has the right to set a minimum shopping cart amount at their discretion, which is visible to the Buyer when viewing the cart.

5.2. If the Buyer attempts to compromise the stability or security of the online store or violates their obligations, the Seller has the right to restrict or suspend the Buyer’s ability to use the store without delay.

5.3. If necessary due to important circumstances, the Seller may temporarily or permanently suspend the operation of the online store without prior notice to the Buyer.

5.4. The Seller has the right to cancel an order if the Buyer chooses bank transfer payment but does not pay within [your set number of days, e.g. 5 business days].

5.5. If the Buyer does not provide accurate information needed to fulfill the order or if the Seller cannot contact the Buyer within 3 business days to clarify the order, the Seller may cancel the order.

5.6. If the Seller is unable to fulfill the order on time due to important reasons, they reserve the right to change delivery conditions and deadlines or cancel the order, notifying the Buyer and refunding any paid amounts.

6. Seller’s Obligations

6.1. The Seller undertakes to ensure the Buyer’s access to the standingdesk.lt online store services under these Rules and the conditions stated on the website.

6.2. The Seller undertakes to respect the Buyer’s right to privacy and process the Buyer’s personal data according to these Rules and applicable legal acts.

6.3. The Seller undertakes to deliver the Buyer’s ordered goods to the address indicated by the Buyer under the conditions provided in Section 8 of these Rules.

6.4. If the Seller cannot deliver the ordered good, they must offer an equivalent or similar product. If the Buyer declines, the Seller refunds the Buyer within 3 business days if advance payment was made.

6.5. If the Buyer withdraws from the contract and complies with the conditions in the Rules, the Seller refunds the Buyer within 10 business days from the date of receiving the returned goods, unless legal acts specify otherwise.

7. Prices, Payment Procedure and Terms

7.1. Product prices in the standingdesk.lt online store and in the order summary are listed in euros. Prices may change, but changes do not apply to orders already placed and confirmed.

7.2. The Buyer pays for the goods using one of the following methods (actual methods are listed on the website):

  • Bank transfer – After order confirmation, the Buyer transfers payment to the Seller’s account:
    [Bank, account number, recipient – Name Surname / individual activity].

  • Electronic banking / payment collection system (if applicable) – The Buyer is redirected to the selected bank or payment service provider.

  • Cash payment to the courier upon delivery (if applicable) – Payment is made at the time of delivery.

7.3. The Seller has the right to request partial or full advance payment.

7.4. The Buyer receives an invoice indicating the selected products, quantities, discounts, final price including taxes, and other legally required information.

8. Delivery of Goods

8.1. When placing an order, the Buyer may choose:

  • delivery by courier to the specified address;

  • pickup (if applicable — e.g., warehouse / pickup point, address).

8.2. When choosing delivery, the Buyer must provide the exact delivery address and ensure that the goods can be received at the agreed time.

8.3. The Buyer must accept the goods personally. If the goods are delivered to the specified address based on the Buyer’s provided information, they are considered delivered to the correct recipient.

8.4. Goods are delivered by the Seller or an authorized courier/shipping company.

8.5. Delivery prices and conditions:

  • Delivery price and conditions for free delivery (if applicable) are indicated on the “Delivery” page on standingdesk.lt and in the order form.

  • Goods are delivered within the territory of the Republic of Lithuania. Delivery to other countries is agreed individually.

  • Furniture (height-adjustable desks) is delivered only to a location accessible by a cargo van. Goods are not carried indoors, unless otherwise agreed and/or an additional fee for carrying service is paid. Furniture is usually delivered unassembled, in packaging, with instructions and necessary hardware.

8.6. The delivery term is indicated in the product description and/or order confirmation. These terms are approximate and may change due to circumstances beyond the Seller’s control. The Seller will inform the Buyer of any changes.

8.7. The Seller is not liable for delivery delays if the goods are not delivered or delivered late due to the Buyer’s fault or circumstances dependent on the Buyer.

8.8. Upon delivery, the Buyer must inspect the shipment and sign the delivery document. If any damage, shortages, or discrepancies are noticed, the Buyer must note this in the document and prepare a discrepancy report with the courier. If this is not done, the Seller may be released from liability for later claims, except for manufacturing defects.

8.9. If the Buyer does not accept the goods and they are returned to the Seller, the Seller will contact the Buyer for re-delivery. If the Buyer repeatedly does not accept the goods, the order may be canceled, and if payment was made, the refund will be issued minus delivery costs.

9. Product Quality, Warranty, and Service Life

9.1. The characteristics of the goods sold on standingdesk.lt (adjustable desks and other items) are described in the product descriptions.

9.2. Colors, shapes, or other parameters may differ slightly from the actual product due to display differences on the Buyer’s device.

9.3. The Seller provides a warranty as stated in the product description, but not shorter than required by Lithuanian law. Unless stated otherwise:

  • 24-month warranty for consumers;

  • 12-month warranty for legal entities.

9.4. If no separate warranty is provided for certain products, the statutory warranty under applicable laws applies.

9.5. Warranty service is provided according to the procedures set by the manufacturer and the Seller. The Seller acts as an intermediary between the Buyer and the manufacturer/representative.

10. Return and Exchange of Goods

10.1. The Buyer (consumer) has the right to withdraw from the distance purchase–sale contract within 14 calendar days from receiving the goods, without providing a reason, following these Rules and applicable legislation. This right does not apply to contracts listed in Article 6.228–10(2) of the Civil Code.

10.2. Defects are eliminated, and defective goods are repaired, replaced, or refunded according to the Civil Code and Retail Trade Rules approved by Government Resolution No. 738.

10.3. To return goods, the Buyer must inform the Seller via email [your email], indicating the order number, the returned item, and (if applicable) the reason for return.

10.4. Returned goods must comply with the following conditions:

  • must be in original undamaged packaging (not applicable to defective goods);

  • must be unused, unassembled, undamaged, and not altered in appearance;

  • must include all components as received;

  • must include proof of purchase (invoice or receipt).

10.5. The Seller has the right to refuse returns if the Buyer does not follow the return procedure.

10.6. When returning quality goods, the Buyer covers the return shipping cost, unless laws state otherwise.

10.7. Refunds are issued to the Buyer by bank transfer within 10 business days from receiving the returned goods, unless otherwise agreed.

11. Processing of Personal Data

11.1. The Seller collects, processes, and stores the Buyer’s personal data in accordance with these Rules, applicable data protection laws (including GDPR), and other regulations.

11.2. Personal data is processed for the following purposes:

  • conducting e-commerce activities (order processing, fulfillment, invoicing);

  • product delivery;

  • warranty service, refunds, product exchanges;

  • resolving issues related to the Buyer’s purchases;

  • fulfilling legally required obligations (accounting, tax obligations, etc.).

11.3. By placing an order or registering, the Buyer is considered to have read and agreed to the Rules and personal data processing terms.

11.4. The Seller processes the following Buyer data: name, surname, phone number, email address, delivery address, order history, and for legal entities — company name, code, VAT code, and registered office address.

11.5. Data is stored as long as necessary for the specified purposes and as required by law (e.g., accounting documents must be retained for a legally defined period).

11.6. The Buyer has the right to:

  • access their data and receive information about processing;

  • request correction of inaccurate data;

  • request deletion of data when no longer needed or processed unlawfully;

  • restrict processing;

  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;

  • file a complaint with the State Data Protection Inspectorate.

11.7. Requests and inquiries related to data processing should be sent to [your email]. The Buyer must provide identifying information (e.g., name, surname, and email used to register or place the order).

11.8. The Seller undertakes to implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data.

11.9. Personal data may be provided only to third parties who deliver goods, process payments, or provide services related to order fulfillment, as well as to authorities when required by law.

12. Final Provisions

12.1. The Seller has the right to change or amend these Rules at any time to comply with legal requirements or service changes. The updated version takes effect upon publication on standingdesk.lt.

12.2. When purchasing goods, the Buyer is subject to the version of the Rules valid at the time of placing the order.

12.3. The Rules are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania.

12.4. Any disputes arising from or related to these Rules shall be resolved through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes are resolved in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania according to the Seller’s registered place of business and under Lithuanian law.
